Almost invisible hearing aids at Hörakustik Welsch

Taking part in life again with almost invisible hearing aids

A hearing loss can become gradually noticeable – often you notice it yourself last. If you have a worse understanding of those around you and are wondering why many people are talking more and more indistinctly or quietly, these may be the first signs of hearing loss. Also, frequent asking or increasing the volume of the TV may be evidence that the hearing needs support.

If a hearing loss remains untreated, it can progressively worsen. At the same time, many of those affected unconsciously withdraw from conversations and social situations. The exhausting communication, constant guesswork and the worry of misunderstanding something lead to the fact that one tends to avoid conversations. This can lead to social isolation in the long term.

Today, there are modern hearing aids that are inconspicuous, comfortable and individually adaptable. A hearing care professional can already determine by a professional hearing test whether there is a hearing impairment and which solutions are useful. Those who have poor hearing should take action at an early stage - not only for better understanding, but also for a better quality of life in everyday life.

Many sufferers fear that hearing aids will immediately catch the eye. Modern behind-the-ear devices are surprisingly inconspicuous today. At first glance, they may seem visible, but as soon as they sit behind the ear, they almost completely disappear in the natural shadow area. Finely crafted, close-up colors and particularly thin sound tubes ensure that the devices can only be recognized on closer inspection. This not only allows you to regain better hearing, but also allows you to feel safe in everyday life – without the feeling that your hearing aid is the focus.

In-the-ear hearing aids are particularly popular with people who want a solution that is as inconspicuous as possible. All the important components – microphone, sound processor and speaker – are housed in a small housing that sits directly in the ear canal. Depending on the version, we distinguish between CIC (Completely in the Canal) and IIC (Invisible in the Canal). While CIC hearing aids are worn completely in the ear canal, IIC models sit even deeper in the ear and are almost invisible. Both variants impress with a very natural sound and a spatial listening experience.

Also discreet and at the same time very comfortable are behind-the-ear hearing aids with an external earpiece. Here you wear the actual hearing aid unusually behind the ear, while the speaker sits directly in the ear canal. A fine, barely visible cable connects both parts together. This design offers a lot of flexibility, high sound quality and is suitable for many listening situations.

We would be happy to advise you personally on which design suits you best – so that you can hear, understand and feel comfortable again.
